EA and Codemasters have announced the release date of the upcoming title in the GRID series called Grid Legends. Grid Legends will release on February 25, 2022, on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders are now live for all platforms and if you are interested in pre-ordering the game for your favorite platform, you can do so now. Everyone who pre-orders the title will get bonus content.
Apart from the standard edition, Grid Legends is also getting a Deluxe Edition which includes additional add-ons on launch day as well as beyond the game’s release. Grid Legends will feature over 100 of the world’s greatest vehicles that you will drive while competing with 21 other drivers over 130 stunning routes. Grid Legends encourages tight pack racing and you will feel this while playing the game.
Each AI in the game will have a unique personality and you will feel their nuances and differences while racing with them. The game has hundreds of these AI personalities so each race will be a unique one for you. Some of the AI drivers will be really aggressive while some of them will be forgiving. AI drivers will crash, blow their engines, and trade paint with you to give you a hardcore racing experience.
The cars featured in Grid Legends belong to various categories. You will have the option to choose from hypercars to big rigs, single-seaters, drift legends, iconic prototypes, and stadium trucks. This is also the most diverse lineup that has ever been seen in a Grid title. You will use these machines to race in various events such as Eliminator, Boost races and Drift runs.
The tracks featured include some of the iconic racetracks from around the world such as Indianapolis, Suzuka, and Red Bull Ring. Street circuits include locations like new London, Moscow, and Strada Alpina. If you are looking for custom events, you can head to the Grid Legend’s Race Creator and mould your very own unique events. You will have the rulebook of racing here and the design will be all yours.
Additional details about Grid Legends will be shared in the coming months leading to the title’s release. This is the first Grid title that Codemasters will release since EA took over the company so this will be a turning point for the franchise and will most probably determine the future of the franchise as well. It was announced by EA back in July 2021.
