Bonus Stage Publishing has announced their brand-new project Chester’s Revenge in which you play as a guinea pig who is out for revenge. Chester’s Revenge is developed by Wojo Studios and is slated for release in late 2022/2023 on PC via Steam and the developer will host a closed beta of the game as well before its release next year.
In Chester’s Revenge, you step in the shoes of Chester who is a guinea pig. Chester’s herd was wiped out by the evil Rad Ralph who also stole the Sacred Carrot. Now Chester must avenge his herd and also get the Sacred Carrot back from Rad Ralph in this heart-pumping, fast-paced action game.
Chester’s Revenge is inspired by classic and retro titles such as Cuphead, Mega Man, and Metal Slug. The developer details that the game will feature tight and responsive controls and you will come across huge bosses that will really test your mettle. You will have multiple moves that will come in handy in combat such as blocking, dodging, and double jumping.
For killing your enemies, you will have multiple firing modes and a super shot ability as well for those cool finishers. The game will feature eight platforming levels and each level will end with a powerful boss that you will need to defeat in order to move to the next level. Each of these bosses is unique and beautifully designed and the boss battles take place over multiple phases.
