Sweden-based Wanderword has just launched its Fabella tool, an interactive audio creator that lets you create stories with speech, sound, and interactivity. With Fabella, you can create your own interactive audiobooks in adventure, horror, mystery, and more genres depending on your own ideas and creativity.
Check out how Fabella works in this intro video below:
Fabella is an editor that lets you create speech- and audio-based stories, games, quizzes and other types of audio entertainment. You can even make the storytelling interactive by setting it up to respond to voice commands. It’s so simple that beginners can master it in minutes, yet so powerful that professionals can build commercial products with it.
When you make a new project in Fabella, you can start with a template such as an Interactive Story, Random Facts, or even a Quiz. But if you want to start completely fresh, you can start with a blank slate. From there, you then use Fabella’s building blocks called Nodes, and build things until you tie them together in a sequence you see fit. According to Wanderword, there are several different types of Nodes, but the ones you’ll be using the most are called Say nodes (they hold dialogue for the synthetic Text-To-Speech voices) and Hear nodes (they listen for voice input from you).
There is also a Media library that allows you to upload audio files such as music or sound effects to then add in your project. However, that is not all, you also have the library of synthetic voices to create a cast of characters with. You can also upgrade from the free Starter plan to the Professional , which give you hundreds of premium voices as well as the ability to create an unlimited number of projects featuring an unlimited number of Nodes.
If you are interested in Fabella, you can check out the homepage fabellacreator.com where you can sign up for a free Starter plan that lets you create 2 projects with up to 100 Nodes each.
