Kirby and the Forgotten Land Copy Abilities Guide
There are 12 Copy Abilities that you can get in the game and upgrade to make them better than in their original state.
Hammer Kirby
Hammer
The Hammer is a standard weapon that is good for close range combat, which is obvious from it’s melee swinging capability. Although it may look like a basic weapon, it deals a good amount of damage, which is significantly increased when you charge before releasing the attack
Toy Hammer
Upgrade Requirement:
· 2x Rare Gem
· 500x Star Coin
The Toy Hammer presents a more powerful version of the Hammer, being a light weapon that allows for quick strikes and ending with a combo. The weapon is quite big too, which allows Kirby to hit more targets in range.
Wild Hammer
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 800x Star Coin
This is a high damage dealing version of the hammer, which is slow, but makes up for its damage output. The Wild Hammer is so powerful that even if you attack without charging, it deals a lot of damage to an opponent.
Sword Kirby
Sword
The Sword allows Kirby to go for quick slashes, or a charged attack for a spinning move that can catch targets in its range. The jump attack with the Sword is what makes for an even better attacking move against bigger enemies like bosses.
Gigant Sword
Upgrade Requirement:
· 2x Rare Gem
· 500x Star Coin
The upgraded version of the Sword is the Gigant Sword which brings in more power but is a slower with its swings. However, its high damage output and longer range make up for it. Charging the attack will allow Kirby to slam the attack on the ground that sends a small shockwave.
Meta Knight
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 1,200x Star Coin
The most powerful version of the sword that does it better than the Gigant Sword when it comes to high damage output. However, the best part is that it is even faster than the standard Sword, making it one of the best weapons for players to seek.
Ice Kirby
Ice
The Ice ability allows Kirby to freeze enemies into blocks of ice that can then be kicked to hit other enemies. The ability also allows Kirby to turn into ice, allowing it to slide around and hit enemies by knocking them out.
Frosty Ice
Upgrade Requirement:
· 2x Rare Gem
· 500x Star Coin
The upgrade brings new interesting feature, where Kirby can breath out a snowman that can then be kicked to hit targets.
Blizzard Ice
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 800x Star Coin
A more powerful version of the Ice, where Kirby can fire icicles at the enemies that freeze them. The best part about this upgrade is the range that the Ice Breath lacks.
Ranger Kirby
Ranger
The classic Ranger where Kirby uses a Gun to hit target in quick succession for low damage, but can be charged to hit enemies with a lot of bullets in a single shot.
Noble Ranger
Upgrade Requirement:
· 2x Rare Gem
· 500x Star Coin
The ability is upgraded when Kirby is now got two guns instead of one, allowing more projectiles to hit enemies, and even more when charged. The two guns double the damage output while also increasing the fire rate.
Space Ranger
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 800x Star Coin
The rate of fire is decreased in this upgrade, but is now equipped with higher damage output capability. The Space Ranger allows for 4x the damage output than the Ranger, while a fully charged attack encases targets in a dark orb that continues damage for a few seconds, and then launches them away.
Crash Kirby
Crash
The Crash copy ability is a simple explosive ability that lets Kirby produce an explosion radius around it. The range can be increased when you charge the attack
Time Crash
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 1,200x Star Coin
This ability works differently from Crash, as it slows down time, allowing Kirby to touch enemies to extend the freeze time, and hit them to deal a lot of damage. This ability works best against bosses, where you can deal significant amounts of damage when they are stuck in a place.
Bomb Kirby
Bomb
This is a simple bomb throwing ability that can be thrown in front if stationary, or bowled when moving around. The bombs explode if the fuse runs out, or if you hit a target with the bomb.
Chain Bomb
Upgrade Requirement:
· 2x Rare Gem
· 500x Star Coin
Bombs that are thrown close to each other are chained, allowing Kirby to use multiple explosions at once. The attack works best when trying to hit multiple targets or for crowd control.
Homing Bomb
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 800x Star Coin
The Homing Bomb sounds exactly like what it is, where the bomb will look for the target anywhere close to where you throw it. It will then attach itself to the target and blow up
Needle Kirby
Needle
This is a unique ability where Kirby can stick enemies on the spikes and then release them out in an explosion that catches other targets with them.
Clutter Needle
Upgrade Requirement:
· 2x Rare Gem
· 500x Star Coin
Works just like the Needle ability, but when the spikes come and go, it drops the clutter that goes around the area hitting target. The attack works best when you spam the attack button, sending the clutter all over the place.
Crystal Needle
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 800x Star Coin
The ability allows Kirby to leave behind a trail of crystal spikes as it rolls.
Drill Kirby
Drill
Kirby will dig and hide underground, safe from enemy attacks, and can then shoot out from below to hit enemies. If you make a loop when underground, a Quake Surge attack will damage anything inside the circle.
Pencil Drill
Upgrade Requirement:
· 2x Rare Gem
· 500x Star Coin
A better and more powerful ability of the Drill, where Kirby produces a pencil missile projectile on the ground from above, hitting enemies.
Twin Drill
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 800x Star Coin
This is an upgraded version of the Drill, where Kirby’s speed is increased and the damage output is doubled. The speed allows Kirby to produce more Quake Surge from underground.
Sleep Kirby
Sleep
A health ability that is not offensive, but allows Kirby to sleep and regenerate health.
Deep Sleep
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 1,200x Star Coin
The ability differs from sleep where you can trigger the ability at will, manually. This allows you to use the health regeneration when you actually need it in the stage.
Fire Kirby
Fire
This ability lets Kirby breath out fire, lighting up not only the enemies, but objects in the area.
Volcano Fire
Upgrade Requirement:
· 2x Rare Gem
· 800x Star Coin
Instead of breathing out a stream of fire, Kirby now spits out molten rocks that are lobbed into the air.
Dragon Fire
Upgrade Requirement:
· 3x Rare Gem
· 800x Star Coin
The best version of this copy ability is the Dragon Fire where the fire breath has more power and range as compared the standard Fire. Kirby can simply produce this attack from long range, hitting targets safely and significantly.
Tornado Kirby
This ability allows Kirby to first pull enemies into the tornado to deal damage, and then throw them out as projectiles that can hit other targets.
Fleur Tornado
Upgrade Requirement:
· 2x Rare Gem
· 500x Star Coin
This ability makes Kirby like Fleurina mini-boss, with feathers attached to it and more range to its tornado attack. Looks aside, the ability also dishes out more damage.
Storm Tornado
A more powerful version of the Tornado, the Storm Tornady brings is double the amount of power and speed. If you end the attack manually, it releases a lightning blast.
