Nacon and Spiders have shared the first-ever gameplay video of its upcoming game, Steelrising. The video features more than 5 minutes of gameplay, several levels, and combat highlights.

1789 is the year of the storming of the Bastille and the start of the fall of the Monarchy. Steelrising shows us an alternative version of history, asking: what if King Louis XVI, passionate about watchmaking, had conceived an army of automatons capable of putting down this insurrection? Powerful and cruel this army spares no one and violently punishes rebels. Paris is on fire: men, women, and children are systematically massacred.
Steelrising brings an alternative version of the French Revolution history in 1789, where you embody Aegis, the master chief automaton of Eugene Vauccauson, an engineer working for Louis XVI.
Players will have to navigate through a Paris that is crawling with machines. Every new fight with these mechanical machine enemies is a challenge where your skills will be subjected to tremendous ordeal.
Paris, the city of lights has been plunged into darkness and it is up to you to use your energy, flexibility and tools to navigate the streets, rooftops, neighborhoods, and castles to reveal hidden secrets.
The dynamic and challenging gameplay ensures ruthless and intense fights against the enemies. Skills and nerves will be tested to their limits at every moment that is spent battling these relentless enemies and epic bosses.
