Frozenheim

Hyperstrange and Paranoid Interactive have just confirmed the release date of its upcoming Viking-themed game, Frozenheim. The game also got its final Early Access update, ahead of its June 16 full launch date.

The update comes as the developer prepares for the full launch next month. The update can be downloaded from the game’s Early Access page on Steam.

Watch the trailer below:

In the Early Access period of Frozenheim, the game has gained a lot of popularity with Steam players. Developed by a small team of 3 people, the multi-faceted strategy epic has sold nearly 200,000 copies to date. Following the Early Access launch under the publishing label Hyperstrange, the development team has grown over four times in size.

This is the eighth and last update in the Early Access version of Frozenheim, that adds a third story campaign. The new campaign contains four missions that focus the narrative around Thorstein, the hero of the Bear Clan and make up for the total of sixteen scenarios available in the game. The game’s multi-player segment also received the long-awaited matchmaking feature, while siege weapons make their way into the north land battlefields

Once the game fully launches on June 16, it will bring the finishing touches to the game’s visuals and gameplay, and will also introduce the fourth story campaign, and conclusion to the entire Frozenheim legend.
