Wholesome Direct 2022 brought in tons of game announcements and trailers as it featured around 100 game trailers. From new reveals and teasers, to release dates and launch trailers, there was something for everyone to be excited about.
Let’s take a look at all the trailers and announcements that were showcased at Wholesome Direct 2022:
Terra Nil
Wholesome Direct 2022 kicked off with a trailer for the reverse city builder, Terra Nil, which gets a free demo on Steam that you can play right now. Turn a barren wasteland into an ecological paradise complete with different flora and fauna. Then clean up, leaving the environment pristine.
Little Bear Chef
Little Bear Chef is exactly what it sounds like, where this cute small bear finds itself cooking in a very large kitchen, and running a successful restaurant.
Melodessey
Take the role of a child journeying through a musical landscape. The gameplay uses block moving puzzles to progress and is set to relaxing, ASMR music and sounds.
The Garden Path
The Garden Path is an upcoming life sim game that will launch this year on Nintendo Switch and PC in 2022.
Mika and the Witch’s Mountain
Fly on your broomstick, deliver packages, and explore a vibrant sandbox in this upcoming adventure of an aspiring witch. The game will release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, and Xbox Series X.
30 Birds
Next on the Wholesome Direct 2022, we saw 30 Birds, an exploration game where you have to find thirty missing birds, all in a beautiful hand-painted city that mixes 2D and 3D views. The demo of the game can be downloaded right now from Steam, while the full game will release on PC and consoles in 2024.
Mail Time
In Mail Time, you play as a newly trained Mail Scout. Put on your bag, grab the letters, and deliver them to Grumblewood Grove.
Usagi Shima
Usagi Shima is coming to PC and mobile devices and is a cozy, relaxing game about finding and collecting hidden rabbits, decorating an abandoned island, and befriending the found bunnies that inhabit it.
Walk with Yiayia
Walk with Yiayia gets a release date as it readies to launch on 20th August 2022 on Nintendo Switch and PC. The game is a light adventure game/visual novel about taking a walk with your grandmother, exploring the neighborhood, and talking with her as you help her regain her confidence after she has a scary fall.
Chicken Journey
Releasing in Q4 of 2022 on PC and Nintendo Switch, Chicken Journey will have you play as a chicken. ump, climb and solve puzzles to find the answer to the ULTIMATE question chicken can ask.
Puffpals Island Skies
From living off the land to building an agricultural powerhouse, grow however you want in PuffPals Island Skies!
Freeride
Use Physics-based telekinesis to make your mark on a strange world of Spirits. Make decisions in this personality test action RPG. Though you will not be judged, you will only be facing the consequences of your actions.
How to Say Goodbye

In Garden Witch Life, you start anew after losing your job and end up in a small town, far away from your home. Build your own garden, grow plants for your potions and spells and build friendships with the town’s folk.
Princess Farmer Free Update
Princess Farmer gets a free DLC for you to download right now. The Guardian’s Beach Break Part 1: Swimsuits and Shells and a Tournament, Oh My! launches as a free update later this summer.
OOblets Launch Trailer
Ooblets gets its launch trailer as it is readies to launch this summer on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is a farming, creature collection, and town life game where you build up your farm, befriend townsfolk, grow ooblets, and have dance-offs.
Bubblegum Galaxy

Critter Crops

Melatonin is a story about self-reflection told through rhythm mini-games that merge reality and dreams together.
