Assassin’s Creed Origins is set in Ancient Egypt where players jump in the shoes of Bayek. Bayek finds himself in Ancient Egypt during a mysterious and pivotal period that shaped civilization. As a protector of Egypt and one of the first assassins, Bayek must dive into a vibrant and systematic open world and discover the secrets of the great pyramids, forgotten myths, and the last of pharaohs. The free weekend will give players access to the full game and if they decided to purchase it during the free weekend, it currently has a massive 85% discount on the full price.
The 15-year celebration is not just limited to Assassin’s Creed Origins as players will find plenty of goodies in other titles as well. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players are getting free content with the return of festivals, the Mastery Challenge Pack 2, and the Armory feature in the game along with new caves to explore this fall to solve the mystery of the Tombs of the Fallen. Players will also be able to take part in Odin’s rogue-lite-inspired journey to the spectacular region of Niflheim with the new game mode, The Forgotten Saga this summer.
The Forgotten Saga will offer players a fresh take on gameplay that will be free to all Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players. One last surprise for players will reveal the last episode of the story of Eivor as a free chapter to all players. The development team’s passion for making history available to a larger audience gave birth to three opuses of the Discovery Tour franchise. Now, for the franchise’s 15th anniversary, the Discovery Tour: Viking Age is also available as a stand-alone experience on consoles, Google Stadia along with PC.
Ubisoft is also teaming up with the Faculty of Education at McGill University to develop curriculum guides for teachers and students which are available online for free. These will help them make the most of Discovery Tour as learning tools in the classroom. To celebrate the 15 years of the Assassin’s Creed, a game will be featured each week which will offer new content, rewards, and interactive experiences for all our audiences on our dedicated website which is now live.
As of now, several sets of Assassin’s Creed Origins tattoos along with a naval pack are available in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
