ROCKFISH Games has teased the upcoming largest content update Drake: Gang Wars for its space shooter EVERSPACE 2. The teaser for EVERSPACE 2 Drake: Gang Wars was released during the ongoing Steam Summer Sale. Check out the short teaser trailer below before we jump into additional details:
The short action-packed trailer is just 59 seconds long which shows plenty of space shooting along with a small teaser of the new features that will arrive with the EVERSPACE 2 Drake: Gang Wars update. The new update will add a brand-new star system to the game, new factions, new missions, and a lot more to the game as well which will be revealed fully at a later stage. The trailer shows a lot of fiery areas along with rain and ice as well. These can be expected in the new star system.

While we’re sitting close to fantastic 90% positive reviews on Steam even before hitting v1.0, we’re aware that there are several big-budget space games in production. Other iconic titles have also improved constantly over the years — to all of this we say: Challenge accepted!
ROCKFISH revealed additional information on the new locations in the new Drake ship as well during a livestream which you will find linked below. Additional details about the update will be revealed officially at a later date. With its full release pushed into 2023, ROCKFISH Games is aiming for a console release as well. ROCKFISH is currently available on Steam and GoG in Early Access. It is also part of the Xbox Game Pass for PC.
ROCKFISH Games delivered an absolute blast of a sequel with EVERSPACE 2 and we have its wonderful Accolades Trailer to prove it, alongside the Incursions Update, the teaser trailer for its Drake: Gang Wars update, Xbox Game Pass arrival trailer, Zharkov: The Vortex Update, First Early Access Update trailer, detailed roadmap reveal, Early Access Preview, and Early Access Launch announcement trailer. EVERSPACE 2 started its journey as a Kickstarter project during which it showcased in-game locations, HOTAS support, exclusive Closed Beta, gameplay trailers, Closed Alpha, and Concept Art.
Its Early Access launch was delayed on two separate occasions, one in March 2020 and then again in November 2020. Its Kickstarter campaign had a massive goal of $493,000 which was achieved on its final campaign day. The developer kept gamers in the loop with a regular influx of new information during this period. We were lucky enough to get our hands on an early access prototype of the game back in May 2020 for our preview.
