Developer and publisher Tactical Adventures has announced that their critically-acclaimed CRPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister has arrived on Xbox Game Pass, and it also supports PC crossplay. The game will support Xbox Series X|S and the previous-gen Xbox One console as well. The game was previously released on PC and Mac however now the game is finally available for Xbox players as well and if their friends are playing it on PC, they can both play it together with the crossplay support.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister brings the tabletop experience to virtual screens as the game stays true to its core with three dimensions. Solasta: Crown of the Magister is unique and different from other titles in the same category as it takes high use of verticality. This gives the players a chance to use their surroundings as an element of strategy. The Xbox release of the game has been optimized for the Xbox family of consoles including new-gen and old-gen.
The release features a redesigned interface to suit better to the consoles, control pad integration, and the ability to play in co-op online with crossplay support with PC and other Xbox consoles as well. Check out the Xbox Game Pass trailer for Solasta: Crown of the Magister below:
Another thing that the new Xbox release does is that it makes available the community dungeons created in Solasta’s Dungeon Maker PC tool and uploaded to Mod.io for console players to download, for free, both in single-player and multiplayer. Xbox players will get the base game as well as all of the DLCs previously released for the PC on the Xbox store. They will require a separate purchase.
The DLCs include the Primal Calling DLC which features a new Half-Orc ancestry, two additional Barbarian and Druid classes, along with an original two-how ‘Wanderer’ quest. The Lost Valley DLC campaign delivers over 20+ hours of story arc that runs parallel to the original Crown of the Magister campaign and allows players to jump into the game at level 1. One great thing about the game is that if the host has purchased and installed the DLC, they can invite their friends to join in the fun even if they do not own the DLC.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister is now available on PC and Mac along with Xbox Game Pass as well. Players can also purchase the game and its DLCs separately on their Xbox console of choice.
