QuibicGames and developer Hyperstrange are all set to release their arcade rhythm game LOUD this week on July 15th, 2022 on PC, while a console release on PlayStation and Xbox will release at later dates.
The game is a wholesome, rhythm arcade story bopper driven by pop-punk tunes and the classic coming-of-age story. Watch the gameplay trailer below:
LOUD tells the story of Astrid, a young teenage girl with big dreams of becoming a talented musician to avoid a potentially mundane adult life. And it is because of this that she dives head first into the world of guitar and pop-punk.
Though Astrid is a reclusive aspiring musician that didn’t even dare to follow her dreams, there is always something magical about holding a guitar in your hands for the first time. Even a shy, quiet girl like Astrid can find her voice and discover that it is LOUD if the Gods of Rock decide she’s destined for the stage.
There are 14 custom-written songs that will make up the 14 chapters of Astrid’s story as she goes from playing air guitar in her basement, in the hopes of signing her first deal with a talent scout. Master songs and improve your timing to unlock additional cosmetic upgrades such as outfits, guitars, and locations.
Key Features:
- 12 diverse levels, each featuring an original song (+ tutorial track & bonus track!)
- Simple, arcade controls delivering a satisfying and challenging gameplay experience
- Three classic difficulty levels plus unlockable extreme difficulty
- Outfits, guitars, and locations change as your journey to rock stardom progresses
- Makes you feel like a rockstar when you land a perfect solo!
