Death Stranding New Trailer Revealed at TGS 2018 – New Character, Boss Fight

Death Stranding

The upcoming Sony exclusive game; Death Stranding, has got a new trailer that reveals casting information and shows off a big monster. Kojima Productions showed a minute-long trailer at the Tokyo Game Show which might have raised more questions than answered any.

The trailer has now shown that Troy Baker, who is another well known actor, will be playing as a antagonist in Death stranding. In the trailer he is shown to be wearing mask and having the power to rise up big and menacing monsters to attack you. The trailer was called “The Man in the Golden Mask”, and you can take a look at it below.

The trailer absolutely gives nothing away in terms of the story plot of the game, however Norman Reedus can be seen walking while carrying a woman behind on his back. This is where Troy Baker’s character comes in wearing a mask and then creating a monster mid-air which lets out a roar followed by the end of the trailer cutting to black.

Death Stranding

Although not confirmed and this can only be a speculation, the character of Troy Baker appears to be the main bad guy in Death Stranding, considering that Troy is one of the industry’s most prolific and prominent voice actor, who has featured in roles such as Pagan Min in Far Cry 4 and Samuel Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, The Joker in the Batman: Arkham series, Kanji Tatsumi in Persona 4 and Joel in The Last Of Us.

As far as the casting list is concerned in this star-studded game, Troy Baker now joins Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelson, Lea Seydoux, Guillermo del Toro, Lindsay Wagner and Emily O’Brien. Meanwhile, Satoshi Mikami will be providing the voice for the same character in Japanese.

Death Stranding is expected to be released for the Playstation 4 next year. It is the first game being created and directed by Hideo Kojima of Kojima Productions, after the company came into existence following disbandment from Konami in 2015.
