The very first expansion for Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels is now live and it brings the iconic orange tracks back to the Forza Horizon universe. After its initial debut in Forza Horizon 3, Hot Wheels is back in Forza Horizon 5 packed with tons of improvements, accessibility features, and new Hot Wheels cars. Naturally, you will be spending nearly all of your time cruising around the orange tracks but if you want to get off them, this guide details how you can get off the orange tracks and explore the three biomes that are present in the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels Map.
How to Get Off the Orange Tracks in Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels
While the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels map is not as big as the base game, it still offers three unique biomes with plenty going on around you. If you need to get off the tracks and into the three different biomes for a change of scenery or when you want to find and destroy the bonus boards which are not located on the orange tracks, you will need to head to special areas which are connected with the mainland of the three biomes.
If you open the Hot Wheels expansions main map, you will notice that some particular sections of the map have dotted lines in them. These dotted lines are sections that are connecting the orange tracks with the land surfaces, and these are the points where you can get off the main orange tracks and explore the three biomes. Other than these dotted sections of the map, you will not be able to get off the tracks since they are closed on both sides, and you cannot jump off them either. There is not much to explore on the mainland of these biomes, but you will find some bonus boards to break here so it makes it worthwhile to get off the orange tracks and explore these areas.
