Warner Bros. Games and DC have recently introduced Batgirl in a new gameplay trailer for Gotham Knights, the upcoming open-world action RPG releasing this October. The new video brings new gameplay and custom cutscenes of Batgirl, also known as Barbara Gordon.
As a highly trained fighter and expert computer coder and hacker, Batgirl brings both brains and brawn to the team of knights. With the use of her signature weapon, the tonga, along with a fierce knowledge of kickboxing, capoeira, and jiu-jitsu, Batgirl can easily take down any powerful foes twice her size.

Batgirl now joins the Batman Family in Gotham Knights alongside Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin, to form a new guard of trained DC super Heroes who must rise to be the protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s Death. From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, players will confront an array of challenges as they evolve into their own version of the Dark Knight.
Earlier this month, Gotham Knights introduced Robin in action, bringing his collapsible quarterstaff and being a specialist in stealth techniques, psychological warfare, and deductive reasoning.
Previously, we saw Nightwing in his feature trailer; before that, Gotham Knights received a new Court of Owls trailer at DC FanDome. Gotham Knights was originally announced back in 2020 and is slated for release on October 25, 2022, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. All pre-orders will receive the ultra-cool 233 Kustom Batcycle Skin at launch. It is based on the vehicle’s first appearance in DC’s Detective Comics #233
