Publisher Surefire Games and developer Nerdrook Productions have announced the sequel to the popular flash game I’m an Insane Rogue Robot, Rogue AI Simulator. Nerdrook Productions is known for their previous title Monster Slayers and their latest title comes after the first game I’m an Insane Rogue Robot was played over 4 million times. In Rogue AI Simulator, the tables have turned, and you are on a mission to serve the Department of Science and must manage its human test subjects.
In Rogue AI Simulator, play as a sentient robot who is tasked with observing humans in the Department of Science. It is in your task to keep an eye on the humans and watch out for any delinquency and keep the pesky humans in line. You start out by designing and building the factory which can be upgraded later by collecting resources like food, water, and electricity. As you progress in the game, your AI learns more about science and they get closer to sentience and domination. However, if you become too obvious, the humans will quickly catch onto the deception.
The fate of the human test subjects lies solely at your discretion. The final results will be based on how you treat the humans. Each human test subject comes with its own unique personality, and it is up to you to support their basic needs like food, mood regulation, sleep, and learning. You can choose to indulge all humans’ needs and build their loyalty, or you can choose to be stingy and replace them with a new subject once they perish. New test subjects are frozen, and you can unfreeze them on demand.
The game offers 7 different endings and each of them is unlocked based on the choices that you make during the story. You can also unlock upgrades with game progression, and these are carried over to future playthroughs for you to use later even if your game ends prematurely.
