Justin Roiland and Squanch Games shared a brand-new gameplay trailer for their upcoming wacky FPS High on Life during Gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live. The new trailer showcased a boss battle featuring talking guns and a grappling hook that is never afraid of a fight. Check out the new trailer below for High on Life below before we jump into additional details:
The trailer showcases the boss named 9-TORG that looks like a big fly with even bigger guns. Apart from shooting from guns, the boss also loves covering the entire battle arena in goo so you have to change your tactics as well where you must use your fast-talking grappling hook to stay in the air until the goo goes away and you can go back to the shooting bit. There is plenty of action in the trailer and it shows that boss battles in the game are more than just shooting at weak points and will involve some sort of additional tactics as well.
Apart from the boss fight trailer, Squanch Games also showcased another 11-min deep dive into the gameplay and the game. The supporting video gives us a little background into the boss battle which was featured during the Gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live. The video shows us more than just combat. There will be parts in the game where you will get to explore different areas of the game without shooting your gun. High on Life will feature different areas to explore filled with various NPCs to interact with and more.

So far, we are absolutely loving High on Life, and the game looks amazing in every aspect. It is slated for release on December 13, 2022, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
