Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Flying Wild Hog have released the extended gameplay trailer for Evil West and pre-orders for the game are now live as well. Evil West is an upcoming third-person action game that puts you in the boots of a vampire hunter rescuing a Wild West devoured by darkness. The latest gameplay trailer showcases 12 minutes of action-packed gameplay and cutscenes that fully reveal an early level in Evil West’s narrative-driven campaign and an additional boss fight.

The trailer above gives us plenty of new narrative details about the game as it introduces more plot and characters in the level’s cutscenes. You step in the shoes of the young gunslinger Jesse Rentier who is working for his father’s vampire-hunting organization called the Rentier Institute. Both of these play a vital role as you discover a cowboys-meet-historical-figures-meet-gothic-horror world of corrupted politics and covered-up vampire situations. The story kicks off when Rentier Institute experiences a major crisis.
The gameplay of Evil West will mostly see you fighting virulent hordes of bloodthirsty monsters as you unleash your old-school rifle and cutting-edge Rentier Institute technology in an explosive mix of shooting and melee combat. You will be able to able to purchase and upgrade your weapons to make them more effective in combat. Apart from this, you can also level up and unlock various Perks which will grant you different bonuses throughout the game. The vampire menace hits your world hard and it is up to you to save it.
