With Autumn arriving in Forza Horizon 5, we have a new set of challenges to complete and rewards to unlock in the Series 12 Update for the game. We have a new treasure hunt Dune Buggy to solve this week as well for getting 10 Forzathon Points as a reward so like always, we will first solve the clue and will then later find the location of the treasure chest on the map. Dune Buggy Treasure Hunt Guide – Forza Horizon 5
Before we find the treasure chest and unlock our reward, we will first solve the clue which will help us understand what the challenge is for solving this week’s clue. The treasure clue for this week says, ‘Only a buggy could get so muddy and leave your opponents across the country’. This clue is accompanied by a picture of a 1970 Volkswagen Stock Bug #1107 Desert Dingo Racing speeding across the Horizon Baja Outpost.
This shows that you have to race the 1970 Volkswagen Stock Bug #1107 Desert Dingo Racing in a Cross Country event and win the event to solve the clue. Once you complete the race and go back to freeroam, you will get the notification that you have solved the clue and now you can head to the location marked on the map below to find the chest.
The chest is sitting right at the entrance of the Horizon Baja Outpost. Hitting the Treasure Chest will reward you with 100 Forzathon Points and will also give you 3 Points towards your Festival Playlist completion.
