As important as the feature that fast traveling is, players in Gotham Knights can also fast travel from one place to the other quickly. This allows you to continue in the story from mission to mission and is a feature that you should look to unlock pretty early in the gameplay. This Gotham Knights Fast Travel Guide will show you how to fast travel in the game and how to use this feature.
Gotham Knights Fast Travel Guide
Fast travel will unlock when you go through the early stages of the story, up until you reach the 2.1 AKA Oswald Cobblepot mission. After you complete the mission, you will have to head up to Lucius Fox who will give you the task of scanning drones all around the city.
This is the first indication that the game gives you about fast traveling, meaning that the more drones you scan around the city, the more fast-traveling areas you will unlock. Complete the challenge given to you by Lucius Fox and go around scanning for drones. This will unlock the first fast travel location that you can use.
To fast travel to more areas, you will have to unlock more of these points by going to them and scanning the drones. It is recommended that you take the time to go around the city looking for these drones, as it will make things much easier for you as you progress in the story, and have to move around quickly in between missions.
Some of the drones will have a defense mechanism indicated by a blue barrier around them. This will protect them and prevent you from scanning them. You will have to wait for them to land for battery recharge and scan as their blue shield disappears for a brief moment.
In total, there are 7 drones scattered all around the map, five of which can be tracked from your map as they are highlighted in white. Once you have scanned and unlocked a fast travel point, the drones will turn green on your map, indicating that you have unlocked this specific fast travel point.
