Dead Space has managed to acquire the top spot in sales for the last week after beating FIFA 23 and God of War Ragnarok. After 2 weeks of going live on sale, Fire Emblem Engage has dropped down to the seventh spot while another new release Forspoken managed to reach the fourth spot of the official GFK Entertainment Software Charts. The new Dead Space is an official remake of the classic 2008 horror game and developer Motive Studio has done a splendid job on the remake. Claiming the top spot for the first week of sales is pretty common so we will see next week whether Dead Space manages to keep its throne or gets beaten by two defending champions FIFA 23 and God of War Ragnarok.
Following Forspoken, the fifth spot is claimed by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, followed by Call of Duty Modern Warfare II in the sixth spot. The rest of the list is pretty much dominated by Nintendo titles with Fire Emblem Engage in the seventh spot, Nintendo Switch Sports in the eighth spot, Pokemon Violet in the ninth spot, and Minecraft coming in the tenth spot. For this week, we have two new titles claiming their positions in this list with Dead Space topping the charts and Forspoken spending the first launch week and claiming the fourth spot on this list. For this week, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Pokemon Scarlet have been pushed out of the Top 10 list.
