Gun Interactive has announced the release date of its upcoming asymmetrical horror adaptation of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will release on August 18, 2023, across all platforms in recognition of the infamous date upon which the events of the original 1974 film took place. Apart from this, the developer has also announced the dates of the first-ever technical test for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre which will give fans to give the new title a shot before its official release later this summer.

The technical test of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is slated for May 25, 2023, which will allow players to jump in the game and try it out. The technical test will also allow the developers to collect vital feedback on the state of the game and its servers to optimize the game further for its full release. In The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, you either control the Victims or members of the Slaughter family including the famous Leatherface in a vicious game of 3v4 cat-and-mouse that takes the tension and suspense of the film and repurposes it into thrilling, competitive gameplay.
