How to Get Gloom Resistance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Gloom is a condition that slowly damages you, draining Link’s health as it consumes hearts. The more Gloom you are exposed to, the more vulnerable you are when going into the Depths or facing gloom enemies. This guide will show you how to get Gloom Resistance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Gloom is shown as a red liquid that will be scattered in the areas of the Depths. Exposing yourself to it will impose a debuff on you which will consume Link’s hearts, eventually consuming all his health if you don’t escape from its effects

How to Get Gloom Resistance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To get Gloom Resistance, you will need an item called Dark Clump. Cooking food with the Dark Clump gives you gloom resistance which negates the Gloom’s effects for some time.

Dark Clump can be obtained from enemies that you kill, but can also be purchased by trading Dark Clump with poe. A Dark Clump can be traded for 10 Poes at the statue in Lookout Landing, in Robbie and Joshua’s shack.

There are four different foods that you can cook with the Dark Clump to get gloom resistance.

How to Remove Gloom

If you do get caught up in the effects of the Gloom, you will want to consume Sunny food items that will help recover gray and broken hearts. You can cook the following foods to remove gloom:
