Developer Pixelpogo and publisher Assemble Entertainment have announced the launch of their brand-new fast-paced run-n-gun adventure platformer Super Catboy. Super Catboy is starting its life on PC via Steam and GOG where you can join the titular hero Catboy and his sidekick Weapongirl as they battle through hordes of enemies in stunning 16-bit locations. Your ultimate goal is to defeat the evil Dr. Ungefug and get back to doing the normal cat stuff that you are normally doing.

Super Catboy is a 90s-inspired platformer that combines the elements of run-n-gun and beat ‘em up games. You step into the paws of Catboy and you must eliminate Dr. Ungefug as you run, dash, jump and fight your way through the game’s diverse biomes. You will visit snow-capped mountains to derelict factories where you will take on countless dastardly and despicable doggos equipped with powerful weapons. Apart from normal running sequences, the game also features challenging motorbike and mine cart chase sequences and tough boss battles to really test your mettle.
