Kinda Brave Entertainment, in collaboration with Ember Trail, has unveiled the release date for their upcoming adventure game, Distant Bloom. Set to launch on PC via Steam on March 27th, 2024, Distant Bloom offers players a serene and tranquil journey through a world in ruin, with the promise of transformation and renewal.
Alexander Benitez, representing Kinda Brave Entertainment, shared insights into the game’s philosophy, stating, “Distant Bloom is a game that doesn’t rush us. In Distant Bloom, players assume the role of members of a cosmic expedition stranded on an alien planet with a mission to establish a new home for humanity. However, upon arrival, they are met with a scene of desolation rather than the lush paradise they had envisioned. With their faithful robot companion, Kei’ki, players embark on a quest to rebuild the planet’s environment and restore life to its barren landscapes.
The game features diverse biomes, including hills, marshes, gorges, and forests, each with its unique flora and fauna. Players will explore the fragile ecosystem of the planet, collecting resources, seeds, and raw materials to expand their settlement, upgrade tools, and nurture relationships with companions. Along the way, they will encounter animals in need of assistance and uncover ancient ruins that hold clues to the planet’s past.
