Wuthering Waves: How to Reroll

Wuthering Waves Reroll

In Wuthering Waves, there is a feature called gacha mechanics, which is like a random draw to get characters or items. Because of this, some players try different tactics to get a strong start in the game. One of the main strategies they use is called rerolling. Rerolling means creating a new account (or multiple new accounts) to try and get a powerful or favorite character at the beginning of the game. In this Wuthering Waves Reroll Guide, we will tell you how you can reroll to get better characters fast.

Read on below to learn everything there is to know about Reroll in Wuthering Waves.

Purpose Of Reroll in Wuthering Waves

While it’s possible to get this character later in the game, the beginner banner gives you a good chance to add them to your team right from the start. After the initial period, the number of chances you have to try for this character decreases significantly. If you want to avoid spending money or putting in a lot of time and effort, it’s important to try and get this character now.

Drawbacks of Reroll

Sometimes, you might find that both time and random chance (RNG) are not in your favor. There are some scenes and conversations that you can’t skip, which means it can take a long time to reach the point where you can start the Convene process. On top of that, you might be unlucky and not get the character you want, even after trying five, ten, or even twenty times. Eventually, you may need to decide if waiting for your preferred character is worth the delay, or if it’s better to just start playing the game with the character you have.

How To Reroll

You won’t know if you need to restart the game until you can use the Convene feature, which becomes available in Chapter 1, Act 1: First Resonance. Once unlocked, you can immediately access the Novice Convene and Utterance of Marvels. These features include both permanent Character and Weapon Convenes, as well as limited-time Character and Weapon Event Convenes.

The limited-time convenes need Radiant and Forging Tides, which you might not get right away. However, the Novice Convene only needs Lustrous Tides, and you will gather plenty of those in the early stages of the game. Moreover, the Utterance of Marvels provides a discount, allowing you to perform ten Convenes for the price of eight Lustrous Tides.

Keep in mind that you can easily get Lustrous Tides from early quests and mail. As you progress through the game, you can earn more by increasing your Union Level. In the Chapter 1, Act 2 quest called Echoing Marche, you will unlock a reward track. This track gives you five Lustrous Tides when you reach Union Level 5 and another five Lustrous Tides when you reach Union Level 15.

After you’ve used up all your Lustrous Tides and Astrite (which can be spent to get more Lustrous Tides), you can still purchase more Tides – Lustrous, Radiant, or Forging – through the Item Exchange. You can do this using the Aftershocked and Oscillated Coral you receive after each Convene. This method lets you make the most of your account before deciding to start over.

If you get the character you wanted, congratulations! You can now continue the game at your own pace with your favorite character on your team. If not, it’s time to log out, create a new account with a new email, and try again. You’ll need to replay the prologue and Act 1, Chapter 1: First Resonance before you can Convene again. Hopefully, you’ll get the character you want before having to reroll too many times.
