One of the main features of this update is the significant advancement in AI capabilities. The UH-1H and Mi-8MT transport helicopters now feature multiple turrets, significantly enhancing their defensive capabilities and changing the dynamics of aerial combat. This enhancement allows for more strategic depth and realism, aligning with Arma Reforger’s classic focus on tactical gameplay.

The update expands the game’s arsenal with new gear and weapons. Flares have been added to illuminate nighttime combat, providing better visibility in dark environments. New pilot suits and gloves offer authentic gear for aviation roles. The AKS-74U, a lightweight, close-quarter variant of the AK-74, has been introduced, along with explosive charges for both US and Soviet factions, enabling sabotage and ambush tactics. Additionally, soldiers can now attach bayonets to select weapons for improved defensive close-quarter combat.
