This new chapter not only continues the series’ legacy but also unifies it under the global name ‘Sparking Zero,’ fostering a sense of community among fans worldwide. Sparking Zero stays true to its roots with a one-vs-one 3D battle system that allows you to move freely in three dimensions, fully immersing them in the Dragon Ball universe. After over a decade of waiting, we now get a first look at the game’s Battle Training mode, designed to prepare them for the ultimate Dragon Ball battle experience.
The Battle Training mode features classic Dragon Ball characters Master and Apprentice Piccolo and Gohan, with Goten making a special guest appearance. Players can move 360 degrees, charge, and use their Ki to perform Dragon Dash, allowing rapid movement and follow-up attacks. The mode reveals how to access Vanishing Assaults to quickly gain the upper hand, showcasing how to follow up these moves with additional attacks to create devastating combos.
Battle Training mode also focuses on defense, teaching players how to counter rush attacks with Perception and Super Perception, and dodge follow-up attacks using Z-counters. These defensive moves can turn the tide of battle, providing strategic depth.
True to the Sparking Zero legacy, the training mode covers how to charge Ki and enter Sparking mode, which unlocks a powerful ability for each character, provided at least one Skill Count is available.
