Star Citizen has been in development since 2011 for PC, and is mostly finance by a large crowd-funding campaign. The game’s full launch was anticipated to be in 2014, but delays and product expansions of the gameplay features have led to postponements. A large part of the crowd-funding money has gone in roping in big name actors in the game’s Squadron 42, which is a single player mode. Check out the trailer below.

The trailer released by the developer Cloud Imperium Games was shown at CitizenCon, a Star Citizen fan event. In the trailer actors like Gary Oldman, Mark Hamill, Gillian Anderson, Mark Strong, Henry Cavill, Liam Cunningham, John Rhys Davies and Ben Mendelsohn make up the impressive lineup of celebrities.

In Squadron 42, which is said to be a cinematic single player adventure, you will see yourself playing as a rookie combat pilot, where you will come in contact with the characters that are being played by these celebrities.
