Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer DigiTales Interactive have officially released their latest narrative-driven game, Between Horizons, on consoles. Between Horizons is a 2.5D sci-fi detective adventure that places you aboard the Zephyr, a spaceship on a long journey to a distant star. You step into the role of Stella, the newly appointed Chief of Security, tasked with uncovering the truth behind a conspiracy that threatens the stability of the ship and its mission.
Between Horizons presents a unique blend of pixel art aesthetics and deep storytelling, inviting you to navigate complex narratives, explore different areas of the Zephyr, and investigate suspicious activities that could disrupt the vessel’s delicate social order. Set decades into Zephyr’s voyage, the story begins to unravel when a mysterious incident casts a shadow over the ship’s inhabitants. As Stella, you will need to use your detective skills to piece together clues, connect evidence, and interrogate crew members and passengers to unmask the hidden threat.

The game emphasizes you with decisions that significantly impact the story’s progression. Unlike traditional detective games where a wrong choice might mean the end of the investigation, Between Horizons continues the narrative regardless of your decisions. Inspired by the team’s previous experience with Lacuna, DigiTales Interactive has fine-tuned the investigation mechanics to ensure that every decision feels meaningful.

Between Horizons is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. For a limited time, you can get the game on Nintendo Switch for a 15% discount. Apart from consoles, Between Horizons is also available on PC via Steam where you can currently get the game with a 30% discount and if you do not want to commit straight away, you can first download and try a demo as well.
