Parking Garage Rally Circuit Brings Retro Drifting Action to PC

Parking Garage Rally Circuit Steam Accolades Trailer

The solo developer Walaber has announced the PC Steam launch of his brand-new project Parking Garage Rally Circuit. Parking Garage Rally Circuit is a nostalgic arcade-style racing game and is now available on PC for $9.99. Inspired by retro classics, the game invites you to drift through parking garages across the United States. With tight controls and chainable boosts reminiscent of Mario Kart, the game promises an exciting blend of speed and precision. Walaber has also set ambitious goals for the game’s future, with plans to release a Nintendo Switch version if 50,000 copies are sold and a Sega Saturn version if sales hit 100,000.

Parking Garage Rally Circuit transforms mundane parking garages into thrilling racetracks, complete with the occasional obstacle like falling rocks or lightning strikes. True to its retro roots, the game is designed to look, sound, and feel like a lost Sega Saturn title from the late ’90s. This aesthetic choice, combined with a simple yet addictive time trial gameplay, makes it accessible for newcomers while offering a challenge for seasoned you. As you progress, you’ll unlock new car classes and compete for the top spot on the leaderboards.

Check out the Launch Trailer below:

The game features eight distinct tracks set in various parking garages, each with its own unique layout and challenges. You start with basic car classes but can unlock progressively harder vehicles after refining your drifting skills. As you improve your times, the game introduces tougher ghost racers based on other drifters’ leaderboard runs, ensuring there’s always a new challenge to tackle. The core gameplay revolves around perfecting your drifts and strategically using boosts to shave seconds off your time.

For those seeking a more competitive experience, Parking Garage Rally Circuit offers online multiplayer, where up to eight players can race together in custom lobbies. Participants can choose any track and car class, earning points after each race. There’s also an arcade-style ‘Endurance’ mode, which tests your stamina by having you race against the clock for as long as possible. Adding to the replayability, the game includes hidden cheat codes that unlock special cars, tracks, and fun modifiers.

The game also features a vibrant, all-original soundtrack composed by The Holophonics. Suiting the game’s aesthetics and themes, the soundtrack brings its own retro vibes to the game, and it is available on Steam for sale as well along with streaming apps such as Spotify for you to enjoy it on the go. Parking Garage Rally Circuit is now available on PC via Steam and if you hurry up, you can add it to your library with a 15% launch discount. A 28% discount is also available if you purchase the game and its soundtrack in a bundle. Details on the Nintendo Switch and a possible SEGA Saturn release will be announced later.
