The brand-new Back To The 90’s update has kicked off in Forza Horizon 5 with the Summer season and we have our first set of challenges to complete. After the previous Hidden Horizons update, we are now heading back to the 90s in this new update with a throwback to perhaps the best era for JDM vehicles. Sticking true to nostalgia, we will be rewarded with a 90s icon this week if we nail 20 Points in the Festival Playlist. To gain points quickly, you can complete this simple Treasure Hunt and get 3 Points. Our Forza Horizon 5 High-Snakes Racer Treasure Hunt Guide will help you easily complete this week’s treasure hunt.
High-Snakes Racer Treasure Hunt Guide – Forza Horizon 5
We will first analyze the challenge’s clue which states: ‘This 90s muscle car has some venom in its name, its poison isn’t deadly but it can be hard to tame. Take to the drag strip, victory is your aim, doing this successfully and the treasure you will claim!’. This clue is accompanied by a picture of a 1993 Ford SVT Cobra R or in common terms, known as the Fox body Mustang, on the drag strip. If you have not figured it out already, to solve the clue, you have to win a drag race in the 93’ SVT Cobra R. There is no requirement for the drag strip so you can pick any drag strip.
The requirement is that you must win the drag race and to make things easier, you can turn down the difficulty to Tourist. This will ensure that you win the race even if you do not want to tune or modify your car in any way. The lowest difficulty puts you against the easiest of enemies, but your reward CR will be reduced significantly so keep this in mind. Once you have won the drag race, you will see the message pop up that you have solved the clue, and the treasure chest is unlocked for you. For this week, the treasure chest is sitting in Colinas Aridas. We have marked its exact location for you on the map below:
Once you arrive at the location marked above, you will find the treasure chest sitting in the driveway of a red house. Smash through it and you will complete the challenge. Upon completion, you will be rewarded with 90,000 CR and 3 Points towards the Festival Playlist completion.
