Forza Horizon 5 Need For Steed Treasure Hunt Guide

Autumn has arrived in Forza Horizon 5 and with it, we have entered the second week of the Back To The 90’s update. As nostalgia kicks up, we are ready to drive more iconic cars from this iconic decade in motoring history. This week, we will complete our traditional duo of challenges for some easy points to unlock the Mitsubishi FTO. We have a new treasure chest hiding somewhere across Mexico so let’s jump straight into solving its clue and hunt down the elusive treasure chest. This Forza Horizon 5 Need For Steed Treasure Hunt Guide will help you easily complete this week’s treasure hunt in the game.

Need For Steed Treasure Hunt Guide – Forza Horizon 5

For this week, the treasure clue states: ‘The Berlinetta is a top speed setter, a Street Racer at its best…A Class at most but you’ll want to boast, as you uncover the treasure chest!’. This clue is accompanied by a picture of a 1994 Ferrari F335 Berlinetta taking part in a street race. We can deduct from the clue that to solve it, we need to win a Street Race in a 1994 Ferrari F335 Berlinetta which must be within the A class. There is no requirement for which Street Race you need to win so pick your favorite track, tune your Ferrari F335 Berlinetta to A class, and win a race.

Once you win the race and return to freeroam, you will get the notification that you have solved the clue, and the treasure chest is now unlocked for you. This week, the treasure chest is sitting near a small house in Bahia De Plano. We have marked its exact location on the map below for you:

Arrive at the location and look for the treasure chest sitting on the dirt road next to some surfboards. Smash through the chest and you will be rewarded with 90,000 CR along with 3 Points towards the Festival Playlist completion.

  1. What is a ‘Horizon Tour’? How do I filter the map for Tours? I see none with ‘Tour’ on the map. It’s for the ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ seasonal challenge.

    1. Horizon Tours are online-only. You will find them in the Online tab. You cannot select them directly from the map. Pause the game and go to the Online tab where you will find the Horizon Tour tab to join an online session. You must have Xbox Game Pass Core or above to join them.
