Since Activision announced the news so we know that 500 million figure is not a bluff. The figures come from a total sum of sale of retail units and digital sales along with season pass sales. This is huge success for Call of Duty Black Ops 4. The numbers will surely soar in coming days, weeks and months.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has no story / single player mode. The game has taken a new turn towards online gameplay. This is the first Black Ops game that features battle royale mode. Previously, no other Black Ops game had battle royale mode.
Also, the zombies mode is bigger than before. This time around, you can play zombies mode entirely alone. You will be accompanied by AI in the zombies maps. In previous games, if you select to play zombies mode all alone, you were left stranded to play as lone wolf in the game and we all know there is a very small health bar in zombies mode.
