EPIC Games are bringing in the next big addition to Fortnite. The mounted turrets will come very soon to the game. The mounted turret will not shoot automatically, you will need to hop onto it. There is also a heating mechanics for mounted turrets.
The mounted turret will bring about big changes in gameplay style of Fortnite. Till now, the mantra was to construct forts and shoot down the foes. Now, there will be proper forts, huge ones and there will be mounted turrets atop of them.
Mounted turret will provide enough suppressive fire for your team to flank other players. Strategically, it will be interesting to see a team of four players on turrets, shooting away the players for easy kills.
Mounted turret is limited to heating mechanics. You can not go all crazy while sitting atop of it. Once the gun gets heated up, you will be left for a cooldown time to reuse the turret.
We may see mounted turret in next update releasing any time soon in next week or so. Lets wait and find out how people find the strategic usage of turret in PVP.
In addition to turrent, a brand new assault rifle is also coming into the Fortnite Battle Royale, and it is called the Heavy Assault Rifle. Since the weapon is supposedly coming soon, it is not clear when exactly it will be released for players.
Fortnite has become a new internet sensation since its release July 25, 2017. The game has become now a multi-platform game with cross-play support.
The game is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and iOS. The cross platform gameplay of the feature has made it the most playable game. People enjoy while playing with friends and Fortnite does not restrict players of one platform to play with others.
