A Bavarian Tale: Totgeschwiegen is currently available in early access on Steam and will be leaving it on February 2, 2023. A Bavarian Tale: Totgeschwiegen was released in Early Access back in September 2021 and has spent quite a long time in its phase however now the game is heading to its full release next month. To celebrate the announcement, we have a new trailer for A Bavarian Tale: Totgeschwiegen as well. Check it out below:

In A Bavarian Tale: Totgeschwiegen, you will take on the role of Valentin Schmidt, a young surveyor who has been sent to the tranquil village of Wolpertshofen in Upper Bavaria in 1866 on behalf of the Bavarian crown. You will need to use your detective skills after a cruel murder, and you must find out who did it. Wolpertshofen is a village sitting between idyll and a den of iniquity. It appears like a peaceful provincial village at first however you soon figure out that appearances are deceiving. The village quickly turns into a façade for a world full of dark secrets and inexplicable events.

The villagers are on the edge and a dark secret is hiding behind them. As Valentin, you must figure out who to trust, who is leading you on a false trial and also protect yourself from those who want to stop you from completing your job with force. You are completely free to decide which skills you can level up in the game as they are used in the classic pen&paper manner via skill checks. As you are a detective, your goal is to find hidden clues and collect valuable evidence that will help you progress the main story of the game. A Bavarian Tale: Totgeschwiegen is a decision-heavy game, and you will need to make the right ones.
