Coming to the laptops, first is the Acer Chromebook 511. The Chromebook 511 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Computer Platform. This processor allows for fast processing speeds and it also runs on low power, resulting in an incredibly long battery life of almost 15 hours.

The Chromebook 511 has a built-in 4G LTE connection which offers download speeds of up to 600 MB per second and upload speeds of 150 MB per second. The Chromebook also has a unique feature called the ‘Zero Touch Enrollment’.

The Zero-Touch Enrollment allows the IT department to enroll this Chrome device as soon remotely and automatically as it connects to the internet. This does significantly reduce the effort and hassle that is required to deploy a large number of devices.

The Acer Chromebook 311 on the other hand, has an Anchored Key design which ensures that no matter how many students use this Chromebook, it should stay in good condition. This Chromebook has been certified by two different toy safety standards, the ASTM F963-16 and UL/IEC 60950-1.

This model also has a long battery life of more than 15 hours. Acer says that the Chromebook 311 and the Chromebook 511 will feature a price of $299.99 and $399.99 respectively. The Chromebook 311 is available to buy right now, while the Chromebook 511 will be available later in April.
