Epic Games has announced that in its latest crossover, Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to Fortnite later this week. Horizon sits perfectly with the ongoing Fortnite’s Primal season and is arriving in the game as part of the partnership between Epic Games and Guerrilla Games. Aloy arrives in Fortnite with her own Aloy Cup and a Limited Time Mode. Along with her skin, you will also have a bunch of items as well.
Aloy will arrive in Fortnite on April 15, 2021, along with items including her Blaze Canister Back Bling, Aloy’s Spear Pickaxe, Glinthawk Glider, Shield-Weaver Wrap, the Heart-rizon Emote, and Aloy the Skywatcher Loading Screen. The Skywatcher Loading Screen is part of the bundle only and cannot be obtained separately. If you are playing Fortnite on a PS5, you will also get the Ice Hunter Aloy style for free if you are using the Aloy Outfit. Epic Games has also announced a new Aloy Cup which will allow fans to nab a free Aloy Bundle.
Starting April 14, the Aloy Cup is exclusive to the PlayStation consoles and the top-performing teams in each region will receive the Horizon Zero Dawn Bundle for free even before it hits the Item Shop. The Aloy Cup will take place as 2-player teams and both winning players will receive the Aloy Bundle for free if they win. The cup requires exceptional precision and mastery as players will be using the Bow against other PS4 or PS5 players depending on the player’s platforms for bonus points.
Eliminating other players with the Bow with earn players bonus points however the main points are for their placement at the end of the match. The full breakdown of the scores is detailed below:

Fans will be glad to know that Aloy is coming with another Limited Time Mode in the game as well where the player can team up with another Duos partner to jump in the new Team Up! Aloy & Lara Limited Time Mode. Each of the players will automatically be outfitted as either Aloy or Lara Croft in a loot-locked battle with the craftable Bow (Aloy) and Dual Pistols (Lara). Winners will need a cunning strategy and a good eye for making sure that their weapons land the final kill.
The Team Up! Aloy & Lara Limited Time Mode will go live on April 16, 9 AM ET, and will end on April 18, 9 AM PT. For additional details, you can check out the Aloy Cup Official Rules are detailed by Epic Games on their official forums.
