AMD took the stage at E3 2019 and revealed some new products including Navi 5700 graphics cards. We also got to see some demos and some numbers. Here we are going to cover the highlights of the AMD E3 2019 New Horizon event.
AMD E3 2019 New Horizon
The following are the highlights of the AMD New Horizon event at E3 2019:
AMD Ryzen 3000
AMD announced these new CPUs at Computex 2019 and the top of the line model offers 12 cores and 24 threads which is very impressive indeed. We got to see some gaming benchmarks for these CPUs but we also got a demo. We saw gameplay of The Division 2 running at 1440p on the AMD Ryzen 3900X. The gameplay was also streamed on YouTube and it was able to beat the 9900K.
The cheaper AMD Ryzen 5 series was announced at the event as well. the AMD Ryzen 5 3600X will be available for $249 and the 3600 will be available for $199. These CPUs will be available on July 7th.
AMD announced the Ryzen 3950X that comes with 16 cores and 32 threads. You can check out the details of the CPU below:
AMD Radeon Navi RX 5700
AMD announced the Navi based Radeon RX 5700 XT delivers top of the line performance from team Red. You can check out the specifications of the graphics card below:
The AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT also has a 50th-anniversary edition which you can check out below:

From what we can see from the specifications, the AMD Radeon RX 5700 looks like a cutdown version of the XT variant.
From the looks of things, the AMD Radeon RX 5700 is supposed to take on the RTX 2060. AMD showed a demo of Apex Legends in which the AMD Radeon RX 5700 was able to beat the RTX 2060 at 1440p max settings.
AMD has confirmed that the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT will be available for $449 and the AMD Radeon RX 5700 will be available for $379. AMD claims that these cards will offer the best performance per dollar without impacting performance and these cards will be available on July 7th, alongside the AMD Ryzen 3000 series CPUs.
The special edition GPU will be available for $499.
