A Seller in Czechoslovakia has already started to sell the AMD RX 6700 XT graphics card before the official launch date at an absurd price. In recent months, multiple PC component launches have faced issues of being sold before launch. Prelaunch sales are becoming more and more of an issue which have already impacted the launch of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and Intel 11th Gen Core i7-11700K.

And now, the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT is the latest victim of Pre-Launch sales. According to Videocardz, A seller from Czechoslovakia has listed the PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT Hellhound for sale at an absurdly high price. The seller is selling the RX 6700 XT for over $1250 USD which is more than twice the retail price.

In his listing, the seller has given some details on the mining performance of the Radeon RX 6700 XT. He says that the card delivers 50 MH/s, but did not specify which cryptocurrency. The power consumption is 120W which is less than NVIDIA’s RTX 3070 and 3060 Ti. The hash rate is also comparable to the RTX 3060 which recently had the vBIOS hash rate limiter bypassed.

The Seller has listed the card for a price of 28,000 CZK which converts to about $1,275. That is a 166% increase compared to the $479 MSRP for a reference card. The seller has also mentioned that soon he will have another custom RX 6700 XT model available for sale.

There has been no word from AMD on this breach of sales for now. We will have to wait and see how AMD reacts to this. The seller is only doing in-person sales, so if you want to buy one of these cards, then you will have to go to Prague, no deliveries are possible according to the listing.
