AMD Ryzen 3200G Picasso APU has been spotted and the new chip offers the AMD Zen+ cores paired with Vega graphics. This is going to be the APU that replaces the AMD Ryzen 2200G. While we do not have much information regarding this new APU you can rest assured that the APU will have higher clock speeds than the 2200G and will have better performance as well.

You should not confuse this AMD Ryzen 3200G Picasso APU with the AMD Ryzen 3000 series chips that are based on the 7nm process. While the AMD Ryzen 3200G Picasso APU is based on the 12nm process it is much better than the 14nm process which was the foundation for the AMD Ryzen 2200G. The 2200G was popular due to the price tag and the integrated graphics that were much better than what Intel had to offer at the time.

We could see something similar with the AMD Ryzen 3200G Picasso APU as well. According to the latest news, the AMD Ryzen 3200G Picasso APU will have a base clock speed of 3.6 GHz and can boost to 3.9 GHz. The chips will come with 4 cores and 4 threads and will have 512 stream processors.

The graphics part of the chip is clocked slightly higher at 1250 MHz compared to the 1100 MHz of the Ryzen 3 2200G APU.
