Panache Digital released its hardcore survival game Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey on PC three months and now has finally announced the console release date as well. PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to play the most unique and harsh survival game Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey on December 6, 2019.
Fans of the title will also be glad to know that the pre-orders for both Xbox One and PS4 versions are now live in their respective stores. The console version for the game will bring with it all the updates and improvements since its release back in August 2019. This will make the console release the most stable and balanced version of the game. You can head over to PS Store or Xbox Store to pre-order the game right now.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is one of the first survival titles which allow the player to find out literally on their own. The game does not guide the players on anything and because of this very mechanic, every player’s journey is unique and no 2 playthroughs of the game are ever the same. The game is also really hard when it comes to teaching different mechanics to players and no guidance makes it even harder.
Due to this very reason, some of the critics were harsh on the game as well however Ancestors introduced a brand new direction for open-world survival experiences where the players make their own journey without minimum intervention from the game or a linear storyline. There are no written scripts here and you never know what might happen in the forest next with your specie. All of this combines together to form a solid and never-before-seen survival experience and now console players will be able to experience it as well.
