Finding a Mate
The first step for you to mate and make some babies is to find a mate. For doing so, you must find your own sex first. Once you have managed to do that, you now need to find a mate of the opposite sex. To make it more clear, if you are a female, find a male and if you are a male, find a female.
This potential partner has to be in your clan but it must not be part of your immediate family. In addition, they have to be fertile. If you don’t understand what this means, you are probably too young for this game. Turn it off. Once you have located your potential partner in your clan, time for step 2.
Groom Them
After locating your potential partner, you have to bond with them and nothing makes the bond stronger other than grooming them. You can start grooming by approaching them first and them choosing the groom command which triggers a mini-game in which you have to press the required button and then leave it at the right time. Keep grooming but try not to annoy the partner too much. Once the grooming meter is maxed out, you have yourself a partner. Time to get busy.
Mating
The final step involves mating with your newly found love. You can only mate with your partner when you are laying down on a bed. That is now how it works in the real world but strangely the primates in the game know about mating in beds only rather than which berry is good for them and which is not. Anyway, once you are in the bed, press the button to call them over to you.
Once they are in bed with you, you can interact with them again to mate with them. If everything goes as planned, you will soon see a ‘New Pregnancy’ message pop on the screen. This means that your partner or you (if you are a female in the game) are now pregnant with a baby for your clan. Now the option to deliver the baby will appear as ‘Give Birth’. Choose it and welcome your new baby in a world where death lies at every corner. You must note that a baby is born, the game advances 15 months automatically and you cannot do anything about it.
