Ancient Forge, the renowned game developer co-founded by industry veterans Dushan Chaciej and Max Strzelecki, is celebrating its 5th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the company has unveiled its ambitious roadmap for 2024, starting with the highly anticipated Blockbuster Inc. release on Thursday, June 6th.
Upcoming Projects and Roadmap
As part of its anniversary celebrations, Ancient Forge will unveil a brand new project during one of the upcoming June showcases. With a team that has expanded from 20 to 50 talented developers, Ancient Forge is now geared up to work on multiple projects simultaneously, some of which will receive updates during the year.
Glorious Companions Updates
One of the key highlights from Ancient Forge’s roadmap is the full release of Glorious Companions, a turn-based tactical RPG set in the fantasy world of Navaroth. The game is set for its full launch in December 2024, featuring a plethora of new features and upgrades based on player feedback from Early Access.
Recent updates to Glorious Companions include:
- 12 new battle maps, each with its own unique setting.
- Five dungeons with progressively challenging fights, epic loot, and new enemies.
- Balancing adjustments, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.
- Planned updates leading up to version 1.0 include new side quests, additional points of interest, and an overhauled UI for enhanced gameplay.
Anniversary Sale
To celebrate its 5th anniversary, Ancient Forge is offering a special 50% discount on Steam for Glorious Companions and The Tenants, their successful landlord simulator. The sale begins today, Tuesday, May 7th, and will run for a week. Additionally, Ancient Forge will host broadcasts during the sale period showcasing Blockbuster Inc., The Tenants, Glorious Companions, and The Constructors.
