Annapurna Interactive has announced that it is entering into a multi-year partnership with the prominent indie game studio Simogo. As part of the new partnership, both studios will work together to develop and publish video games across all platforms. The partnership comes after the success of Sayonara Wild Hearts which was released back in 2019 and it became an instant hit.
Sayonara Wild Hearts won Apple’s ‘Apple Arcade Game of the Year’ and the D.I.C.E. Awards ‘Portable Game of the Year’ and many other awards as well. Commenting on the newly formed partnership, Annapurna Interactive President Nathan Gary said:
We were fans of Simogo long before we started Annapurna Interactive and working with them has only increased our respect and admiration. We are excited to enter into the next phase of our partnership and explore the amazing experiences we can build together—anything is possible.
Annapurna Interactive is a well-known studio for its critically acclaimed titles like Outer Wilds, Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, Florence, Gorogoa and What Remains of Edith Finch. The publisher has extensive experience working with indie developers from around the world and has published some really good games.

The Sweden-based developer Simogo has many great games under its belt as well. Some of the most prominent titles include DEVICE 6 and Year Walk. Simogo’s games have been known for unique and engaging interactive experiences. The new partnership marks a commitment between the two companies to create more and better games in the years to come.
