Anthem Cataclysm Valkyries Guide – How to Spawn Valkyries

In this Anthem Cataclysm Valkyries Guide, we will show you how you can spawn the Valkyries in the Cataclysm Event of the game. Valkyries can spawn under certain conditions in the areas where you are going to destroy the Crystals.

Valkyries are enemy spawns that reveal themselves to fight you and your teammates. They do not show up themselves as their spawns need to be triggered by certain actions of you or your teammates. The whole purpose of spawning Valkyries and defeating them is to unlock the trophy/achievement, and to get more score at the end of each event you complete. Killing each Valkyrie rewards you with 2,000 points.

We advise you to read out Anthem Cataclysm Event Puzzles guide, which will guide you step by step into completing the puzzles of each event area. This is because the Valkyries only spawn when you are completing the puzzles, with a conditional spawn requirement that we will mention in this guide.

Anthem Cataclysm Valkyries Guide

Below we have detailed how you can spawn all the Valkyries in each of the areas of the Cataclysm Event.

Valkyries Fury and Magnus

Fury and Magnus are two legendary Valkyries that spawn in the Eye of Magnus Event. It is tough to spawn both of them in a one go, and it will require a lot of resources to take them out in one round.

If you want to spawn Magnus, the requirement is to activate the seven Crystal Rods and to smash the Crystal all within 55 seconds. If you can do this at the starting of the event, Magnus will spawn right in front of you.

For Fury, you have to take down a lot of mob enemies for the Valkyrie to make an appearance itself. Look to getting as many mob enemies killed with the help of your teammates and wait for Fury to show up.

Valkyrie Brita

Brita is the Valkyrie that is found in the Britaheim area of the Cataclysm Event. This is the event that requires you to collect the Echoes and placing them into the devices to remove the Crystal shield.

You can spawn Brita Valkyrie right before destroying the Crystal after you have placed all the five Echoes in the Devices. Instead of going for the Crystal, remove an Echo from any device which will trigger her appearance in the area. You can then fight this Valkyrie.

Keep in mind that if you destroy the Crystal before spawning Valkyrie, you will have to start all over again as the Echoes will be reset to their original locations.

Valkyrie Casja

Casja is the Valkyrie that is found in the Casja’s Forge area. Spawning this Valkyrie is quite easy and it only requires you to take the relic and walk into the Suppression Field.

Just to give you a general idea, to complete the Event, you have to collect the four Relic fragments and take them out from the Suppression Fields when they are deactivated. If you walk with the relic in the field, the relics will be reset which will have to start all over again.

Well to spawn Casja, that is exactly your requirement. Keep making this mistake of walking in with the Relic in the Suppression Field until Casja shows up. You need to do it four times with any relic and this will spawn Casja.

Valkyrie Kelrik

Kelrik is the Valkyrie that resides in Castle Kelrik. This Valkyrie can be spawned by completing an additional requirement that asks you to match the Symbols with the Arcanist Orbs.

While there are puzzles required you to break the wall barrier to collect the additional Arcanist Orbs, there is also an additional location where you need to match the symbols to the one on the southeastern wall. Match the three symbols and this will bring out Kelrik in the battle.

Valkyrie Diana

This Valkyrie can be found in Dianna’s Landing. While the event locations require you to defeat the Riftmaster to drop the key and then use them to activate the panels for the Crystal.

There is also a third panel that is purely to bring out Valkyrie Diana. This panel at a distance facing north from the Crystal and is on a building. After you get the key by killing the Riftmaster, go straight to this panel to spawn Valkyrie Diana.

Valkyrie Takaro

This Valkyrie resides at the Sea of Takaro location. This Valkyrie is easy to spawn and can be done after you destroy the Crystal of this area. Once you are done with the Crystal, you can collect all the three Echoes that you placed in the devices and bring them back to a location right next to the waterfall.

The location will be indicated by a marker, and are three small rock pillars that are glowing from the top. Take the Echoes to this location and Valkyrie Takaro will present itself to fight against you.

Valkyrie Astrid

Valkyrie Astrid is located at the Crucible of Astrid, where it can be summoned right after you have completed all the major parts of the puzzle, but before you destroy the Crystal.

When you have completed the puzzle and have the last laser beam running through the tunnel and towards the platform that disables the Crystal Shield, there is also another Panel that is available. This panel is placed on the ground, up ahead from the first panel slightly to the left. Activating this panel will bring out Valkyrie Astrid.
