CD PROJEKT RED and EC1 Łódź have revealed an expanded lineup for Art For All, a creative industry-focused event set for September 7th in Łódź, Poland. The event will serve as a hub for people interested in pursuing careers in the creative industries, particularly video games, film, and art. With a packed lineup of speakers and activities, Art For All aims to inspire and educate attendees through a range of interactive and immersive experiences.
Art For All will now include access to various EC1 Łódź exhibits for a nominal fee of 1 PLN. These exhibits offer a deep dive into the history of video games and include features from the Centre of Comics and Interactive Narratives. Highlights of the new offerings include the Retro Zone, showcasing classic games from the 1980s and 90s, the Game Lab, which provides insights into the game development process, and the Anatomy of Comics exhibit, dedicated to exploring the world of comic books.
Art For All is more than just a showcase. It is a dynamic event featuring demonstrations of cutting-edge technology and software used in video games and film production. If you are attending the event, you will have the opportunity to interact with top-of-the-line equipment, including professional tablets for artists presented by Wacom in collaboration with IT Media, 3D printers from Prusa and get3D, and motion-capture technology from PCC. The AMA Film Academy will provide a glimpse into film production, while game development school Futuregames will showcase projects created by its students. Additionally, Editions Caurette will offer a collection of premium art books from renowned industry artists.
For those looking to commemorate their experience, partnered tattoo studios will provide a range of flash tattoos. The event will also feature booths from prominent video game developers, including 11 bit studios, Bloober Team, Render Cube, and CD PROJEKT RED, who will be available to answer questions from attendees interested in the game development industry.
The Art For All program boasts a diverse array of speakers and activities, including lectures, discussion panels, demo sessions, and portfolio consultations. Key speakers from CD PROJEKT RED include Art Director Paweł Mielniczuk, Environment Art Director Kacper Niepokólczycki, Associate Game Director Paweł Sasko, Senior Environment Artist Anna Bulavina, and Sound Manager Krzysztof Popiel. Additional speakers include Albert Szostkiewicz, co-founder of The VFX Mentor and known for his work on Dune and Spider-Man: No Way Home; Tomasz Wikliński, Marketing Video Lead at Raw Power Games; and Krzysztof Ostrowski, vocalist, music video director, comic book writer, and frontman of Cool Kids of Death.
Art For All tickets are priced at 35 PLN and can be purchased on the official EC1 website. Each ticket grants full access to the day’s attractions, including EC1 Łódź exhibits for just 1 PLN.
