ASROCK and Razer are teaming up to bring new X570 and B550 motherboards and the motherboards have been spotted on Newegg which are listed for pre-order. The ASRock X570 & B550 Taichi Razer Edition will feature Razer’s Chroma RGB accents and have complete compatibility with Razer Synapse to control the RGB.
The ASRock X570 & B550 Taichi Razer Edition motherboards will fully support for AMD Ryzen 5000 Desktop CPUs. The motherboards retain the specifications of the original X570 and B550 Taichi variants but the Razer Editions come with full integration of Razer’s Chroma RGB technology along with updated design matching the Razer aesthetic.
The ASRock X570 Taichi Razer Edition motherboard will support the Ryzen 5000 series ‘Vermeer’ CPU out of the box. The AM4 CPU socket is powered by a 14 Phase VRM and power delivery is done through an 8+4-pin connector configuration.
The board has four DDR4 memory slots which support up to 4666 MHz (in OC+ bios setting) speeds and capacities of up to 128 GB. The X570 Taichi Razer edition has three PCIe 4.0 x16, two PCIe 4.0 x1, and three M.2 slots having full-length metal heatsinks. For storage expansion, there are 8 SATA III ports as well.
Motherboard’s I/O options include two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, 6 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 802.11ax WIFI, a BIOS flashback button, and a 7.1 channel audio jack. There are also a handful of USB 3.1 and USB 3.0 front panel headers on the board itself. The ASRock X570 Taichi Razer Edition has a starting price of $399.99 USD and will be available from 30th November.
