Ubisoft is currently working on a new graphic novel for the Assassin’s Creed series, and it is supposedly going to come out in Fall, 2019. The comic is titled Assassin’s Creed: The Fall & The Chain and is going to be in an entirely new setting in Russia.
The story of Assassin’s Creed: the Fall & The Chain will follow Daniel Cross, a new assassin who experiences the past life of a Russian assassin through hallucinations. This past assassin is named Nicolai Orelov who is alongside his son, Innokenti.
The graphic novel will be created by Titan Comics and is expected to hit stores this Fall. According to Titan Comics, the series “tells of Daniel’s rise and fall through the ranks of the Assassin Brotherhood, and his subsequent rise through the ranks of the insidious Templars.”
The comic will be directed by Cameron Stewart, who has worked on Fight Club, and Karl Kerschl, who has worked on Robotech and Isola. A release date was not provided though a time frame was set for October of this year. However, you can pre-order it through the April edition of Previews from the Titan Comics website.
Titan is not new to Assassin’s Creed comics, as it has previously released Assassin’s Creed: Conspiracies back in December of 2018. The comic was a two part standalone series set in another era the franchise has not previously explored, which was World War II. Titan has also published comics based on Assassin’s Creed Origins, and Assassin’s Creed Uprising.
The latest game by Ubisoft was Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, which was released late last year. It is not clear if Titan Comics would work on a graphic novel that features the story of the latest game. However, with the announcement of a new comic, it seems unlikely that it will be coming out soon.

Not new comic.
The Fall and The Chain originally came out in 2011 and was published by DC Wildstorm and Ubisoft Workshop.
This is just a republishing under the Titan Comics label.
