Ubisoft has released the details of their first major Assassin’s Creed Odyssey January update and it seems like that Ubisoft has amazing post-launch support plans for the game. The January update will bring a lot of new features to the game with Episode 2 of Legacy of First Blade leading the pack.
The second episode is dubbed Shadow Heritage and it picks up right from the point where the first episode ended. Players will continue the story and attempt to defeat a fierce naval commander Tempest and free the stranded citizens who are being terrorized by him. Players will steal Tempest’s own weapon and use it to eliminate his presence once and for all in the Aegean Sea.
Shadow Heritage will be released on January 15 and it can only be accessed once the players have completed the first episode and be at least level 28. A certain level of story progression is also required for it. Apart from this, two new Lost Tales of Greece are also coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Daughters of Lalaia and Poet’s Legacy are two brand new Lost Tales of Greece and players will be able to complete them as well with the new update. In Daughters of Lalaia, players will visit a village where all men have left for a battle and players must rally up the remaining children and townspeople and train them for their defense against an oncoming danger.
In Poet’s Legacy, players will meet Greece’s most scandalous poet and become part of her performances. Apart from these new quests, Arges the mighty Cyclops is also coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. He is known as the bright one and players will be able to get a chance to take him down and earn his legendary weapon, the Hammer of Hephaistos.
Apart from these major updates, certain new items are also coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. These include a new Legacy Lieutenant Aya from Assassin’s Creed Origins. A new Dionysos’ Character Pack will also be included in the update. Later, a new item pack Athena pack will also be released for the game.
These new items and quests also come with some game updates which include new Mercenary Tiers, a brand new vendor Hephaistos’s Workshop and Enemy Scaling feature which will allow you to change enemy scaling according to your own personal preferences.
