In addition to the World Premiere Trailer, Ubisoft has also revealed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Collector’s Edition which contains the female Viking protagonist Eivor, standing in a war-ready stance on the bow of her ship.
The replica statue itself is 30cm in height, and while Eivor statue is standing on the bow of a ship, that base itself is just a little cut out of the front of the ship. Eivor is the protagonist of the game who can be played as either male or female, depending on the choice you make at the starting of the game.
The Collector’s Edition of the game also contains the Ultimate Edition of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the Collector’s Case with unique artwork, exclusive Steelbook with iconic designs, a Viking statuette of Eivor with his raven and Dane axe, three Lithographs showcasing the concept art for the game, and the soundtrack.
Ubisoft has also revealed the Gold Edition Steelbook of the game which includes access to epic new content, new lands to explore, and new gear to discover. In addition, the Gold Edition also contains a bonus mission available at launch.
The male version of Eivor was shown at the World Premiere Trailer, and fans were wondering if the game would feature a female protagonist at all. With the collector’s edition announcement, Ubisoft has finally confirmed how the female version of Eivor will look like, and also confirmed that the game will indeed feature a female protagonist.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise as Ubisoft has previously added the choice of both male and female protagonist in the Assassin’s Creed titles. Most recently, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey also had the choice of either choosing a male or a female character to play the game with.
Both the Assassin’s Creed Collector’s Edition and the Gold Edition will be available sometime in the Holiday season of 2020. A release date has not been confirmed yet. Post your comments below.
